TRCCOUTNW indicates whether the respondent's current TRICARE health insurance coverage is provided by someone living outside the household.
TRICARE, formerly known as CHAMPUS, provides civilian health benefits for U.S. armed forces personnel, military retirees, and their dependents. Beginning in 2019, TRICARE is considered private coverage.
