Description
TRCCOUTLY reports whether the respondent was covered by the TRICARE policy of someone outside the household during the previous year.
TRICARE, formerly known as CHAMPUS, provides civilian health benefits for U.S. armed forces personnel, military retirees, and their dependents. Beginning in 2019, TRICARE is considered private coverage.
Universe
- 2019-2025 ASEC: Persons born prior to the calendar year and covered by TRICARE last year.
