Description
PENSION indicates whether the respondent's union or employer for his or her longest job during the preceding calendar year had a pension or other retirement plan for any of the employees, and, if so, whether the respondent was included in that plan. The question specifically excluded retirement support from Social Security.
Universe
- 1980-1989: Civilians 15+ who worked during the preceding calendar year.
- 1990-2025: Persons 15+ who worked during the preceding calendar year.
