Description
OFFCUTOFF is the poverty cutoff threshold used for replicating official poverty rates. OFFCUTOFF uses Census family definitions and differs from CUTOFF in that OFFCUTOFF treats primary families and related subfamilies within a given household as one family, in accordance with the official poverty guidelines (see FTYPE and FAMREL for further information on Census family types). Refer to the notes for Replicating Official Poverty for further information.
