NMTYPLY indicates whether the respondent's non-marketplace health insurance policy covered a family, the policyholder and one other person, or the policyholder only last year.
Non-marketplace coverage is private insurance purchased directly by the policyholder outside of the Affordable Care Act insurance exchanges.
