Description

FSPOOR identifies households where the family income of the householder falls above or below 185% of the poverty line.

Households with incomes below 185% over poverty are automatically screened into the Food Sufficiency and Food Security section of the supplement. Households with incomes above 185% of poverty that report no food access problems on preliminary questions are screened out the remainder of the supplement.

Non-respondents to the income question are included in the above 185% of poverty category. Income is reported in categories in FSFAMINC.
