Description
FSEFMONY indicates whether the household did not eat enough in the past year because there was not enough money to buy food. This question is asked of households that reported not eating enough sometimes or often in the past year (see FSFOODS).
This variable is part of the Food Security Supplement.
Universe
- 1995-2001: All households that indicated that they sometimes or often did not eat enough.
- Apr 2001: All households that indicated that they sometimes or often did not eat enough and are in months-in-sample 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8.
