Description
CWLENOCWU indicates the unit of time that the respondent has worked as an on-call worker. This variable is for the respondent who is an on-call worker (CWONCALL). Note that CWLENOCWN indicates the number associated with the unit.
CWLENOCU and CWLENOCN together indicate how long the respondent has been working as an on-call worker with his/her employer from last week.
This variable is part of the Contingent Work Supplement.
Universe
- 1995-1999: Civilians age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, and worked as an on-call worker in the past week.
- 2001-2005: Civilians in month-in-sample 1-3 or 5-7 age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, and worked as an on-call worker in the past week.
- 2017: Civilians age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, and worked as an on-call worker in the past week.
