Description

CWLENCURU indicates the unit of time that a respondent who is not a temporary worker has been with the current employer. Note that CWLENCURN indicates the number associated with the unit.

This variable is part of the Contingent Work Supplement.

Universe

  • 1995-1999: Civilians age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, were not in temporary jobs, not paid by a temporary help agency, and in the past week were not on-call, not day laborers, not doing independent contract work, and did not work for a company that contracts out the respondent or their services
