Description
CWCONTRACT indicates whether the respondent was working for a company that contracts out the respondent or their services, within the past week. Users should be aware that the universe stated in the codebooks for CWCONTRACT does not match the empirical universe in the data. The empirical universe is as reported in the universe section.

Universe
- 1995-1999: Civilians age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, did not report being paid by a temporary help agency AND did not report working on-call or as a day laborer in the past week.
- 2001-2005: Civilians in month-in-sample 1-3 or 5-7 age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, did not report being paid by a temporary help agency AND did not report working on-call or as a day laborer in the past week.
- 2017: Civilians age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, did not report being paid by a temporary help agency AND did not report working on-call or as a day laborer in the past week.
