Description
CWCONTCUR indicates whether the respondent thinks he or she can continue to work at his or her current employer indefinitely if the economy remains stable and the respondent's performance is satisfactory.
This variable is part of the Contingent Work Supplement.
Universe
- 1995-1999: Civilians age 16+, who were employed, but not self-employed, did not have a temporary job, and did not report changing employers in the past week.
- 2001-2005: Civilians in month-in-sample 1-3 or 5-7, age 16+, who were employed, but not self-employed, did not have a temporary job, and did not report changing employers in the past week.
- 2017: Civilians age 16+, who were employed, but not self-employed, had the same employer as the previous week, and did not report being temporary workers
