Description
CSPHYCUS indicates whether a court or judge ordered joint physical custody for a child who had one biological parent living outside the household. This variable is found on the parent record.
The supplement questionnaire defines the term joint physical custody as the child living with each parent part of the time.
Blank values for this variable represent individuals who were not interviewed in April of the sample year.
This variable is part of the Child Support Supplement.
