Description

For employed persons age 15 and older who use a computer at work, CIWDTWRD indicates whether the person mentioned desktop publishing and/or word processing as one of the uses of their computer at work.

This variable is part of the Computer Internet Supplement.

Comparability

CIWDTPWRD is comparable for all available years.

In years prior to 1994, the work computer uses of desktop publishing and word processing are split into CIWDTPUB and CIWWORD, respectively.
