Description
CINONET indicates the main reason a household does not have internet access. While data were collected for all persons living in households without internet service (see, CINETHH), the responses for minors doubtless reflect the rationales given by adults in the household
This variable is part of the Computer Internet Supplement.
Universe
- Dec 1998 and Aug 2000: Persons in households that have never had internet access.
- Sep 2001 and Oct 2003: Persons in households that do not have internet access.
- Oct 2010: Households that do not have internet access or do not have a computer.
