The list below shows tentative plans for new and revised datasets, as well as added website features for IPUMS-CPS. Please contact us if you need an update on the status of any of these plans.
2011
- Revised 2011 ASEC PUMS file, including alternative poverty measures and SHADAC's summary health insurance variables
- New samples, including Basic Monthly Survey data from 1998 and 1999
2012 and beyond
- Longitudinal data for all possible households and individuals
- Missing data allocation for all variables that currently lack allocation
- New ASEC data every September
- New Basic Monthly Survey data
- Links from variable descriptions to all survey text and interviewer instructions
