Get yourself an IPUMS mug!

Since 1995 we have distributed more than 1,000 mugs to users who identify significant errors in the IPUMS data and documentation. Some of our most experienced users compete to see who can collect the most mugs (the current record is five).

The most mugs sent in one shipment went to Andrew Beveridge's Sociology 710 class at Queens College, City University of New York (pictured below). Over the course of the Fall 2005 semester, Beveridge's class identified more than a dozen errors in the IPUMS data and documentation.
